8k-16k-Partner-Newsletter-Banner

We are once again expanding the Sweep Series with the addition of three new line scan cameras: 8K trilinear, 8K monochrome, and 16K monochrome models. These new models provide system integrators and machine vision professionals with additional choices for achieving reliable performance in high-resolution imaging applications.

8K - SW-8001TL-MCL and SW-8001M-MCL

The new 8K trilinear and monochrome camera models deliver high-speed, high-resolution imaging with exceptional light sensitivity. The Trilinear model features 3 x 8,192 pixels in R-G-B lines and scans at 33 kHz, ideal for precise color inspection. The Monochrome model offers 2 x 8,192 pixels and an impressive 100 kHz scan rate. Both models feature 7 μm square pixels for enhanced sensitivity and are equipped with a Camera Link interface.

Key benefits of the new 8K and 16K Sweep Series Line Scan Cameras:

  • Enhanced sensitivity with 2-step TDI (Time Delay Integration): Available in both the 8K and 16K monochrome models, this feature uses two-pixel lines to capture the same scene line in sequence. By combining the signals from each line, it significantly increases the amount of light collected without raising noise levels—resulting in improved sensitivity and cleaner images in high-speed or low-light conditions.

  • Cost-efficient solutions: The new Sweep camera models deliver premium performance at an affordable price. With robust construction, high-resolution imaging, and built-in processing, it ensures reliable operation and reduced integration costs—perfect for demanding industrial environments.

  • Compact design: The camera’s compact size supports straightforward integration into existing machine vision setups. With efficient thermal management that eliminates the need for an external heat sink, it simplifies system setup and supports cleaner, more streamlined installations—without compromising on performance.

Designed for a wide range of vision inspection applications
